Providence Hospital will celebrate the 33rd Anniversary of its annual Christmas Tree Lighting on Dec. 7 at 6:30 p.m. in the hospital’s main lobby. A reception in the adjacent DePaul Center will follow.

Providence CEO Todd Kennedy will welcome guests. Archbishop Thomas Rodi will bless the tree, and musical entertainment will be provided by the Sweet Adelines.

For a $5 donation, the public is invited to have the name of a loved one placed on the Scrolls of Honor and a light added to the Christmas tree.  A deceased loved one will be identified by a gold cross on the scroll.  Military personnel will be honored with an American flag placed beside their names on the scroll.

This longstanding West Mobile tradition is sponsored by the Providence Hospital Auxiliary. All proceeds support Auxiliary projects that benefit Providence Hospital and the patients it serves.
