For the 20th consecutive year, Mobile consumers have placed Providence Hospital at the top of the list of area hospitals with the best overall quality, according to National Research Corporation.

Providence Hospital is a member of Ascension, the largest non-profit health system in the U.S. and the world’s largest Catholic health system.

National Research Corporation named Providence as a co-winner of the company’s 2016/2017 Consumer Choice Award, based on a survey that showed strong consumer preference for Providence in the Mobile market. The survey responses were gathered from October 2015 through the end of September 2016.

“This award reflects Providence Hospital’s longstanding commitment to the Mobile community and our continued focus on the patient experience, patient safety and the quality of the services we provide,” said Todd Kennedy, president of Providence Hospital.

“This honor would not be possible without the skilled, compassionate care provided every day to every patient by our doctors, nurses and staff.”
