Providence Health System Announces Promotions

MOBILE, Alabama – Todd S. Kennedy, president of Providence Health System, today announced promotions of three leaders. Providence Health System is part of the Ascension Gulf Coast Ministry Market. Ascension is the largest non-profit health system in the U.S. and the world’s largest Catholic health system.

  • Peter J. Lindquist, RN, DNP, has been named Chief Nursing Officer/Chief Operating Officer. Lindquist formerly served as Chief Nursing Officer. In his new role, Lindquist will oversee all nursing areas, including Cardiology and ancillary services.
  • Shannon J. Scaturro, MSHA, MSN, CRNA, FACHE has been named Vice President of Surgical Services and Operations. His responsibilities will include all surgical areas and hospital support services. Scaturro formerly was executive director of surgical services.
  • Jamey C. Greer has been named Executive Director of Support Services. This encompasses oversight of all contracted support functions, including plant operations and grounds, clinical and biomedical engineering, safety and security, and the wound care center. Greer previously served as director of safety, security and switchboard.
