Mobile Physician Named Regional Medical Director of Providence Medical Group

Internal Medicine physician David MacRae, MD, has been named Regional Medical Director of Providence Medical Group.
MacRae served in the United States Navy prior to attending the University of South Alabama where he graduated summa cum laude. He earned his medical degree from the USA College of Medicine. He completed an internal medicine internship at the University of Texas Medical Branch and a residency in internal medicine at USA.
Dr. MacRae joined Providence Medical Group – West Mobile in 1986. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with added certification in Geriatric Medicine. He is a member of a number of honor societies and has been listed in Best Doctors in America, Best Doctors in Alabama and Best Doctors in Mobile. He was the USA College of Medicine Crampton Trust Scholar in Geriatrics in 2012.
