Mobile Neurology Group Joins Providence Medical Group

Providence Medical Group is a member of Ascension, the largest non-profit health system in the U.S. and the world’s largest Catholic health system.
Raymond Kent Robinson, MD, and William S. Denson, MD, are the physicians in the practice. Dr. Robinson is a graduate of UMS-Wright Preparatory School . He earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of South Alabama. He completed an internship in internal medicine at Washington University Hospitals in St. Louis, Mo., and returned to the University of South Alabama Medical Center to complete a residency in neurology where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Robinson completed an externship in neurodiagnostics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and in pediatric neurology at Children’s of Alabama pediatric hospital in Birmingham. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology , is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, and has been in private practice since 1984. He has special medical interest in treating stroke.
Dr. Denson earned his undergraduate degree from Tulane University in New Orleans and his medical degree from the University of South Alabama. He completed an internship in internal medicine and a residency in both internal medicine and neurology at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals in Atlanta before entering the practice in 1986. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the American Board of Internal Medicine, and is a member of the American Academy of Neurology. He entered private practice in 1986. His special medical interests are cerebrovascular disease, stroke transient ischemic attack (TIA) and headache.
