Due to the approach of high winds from Hurricane Nate, Providence Hospital in Mobile will close its entrance doors at 8 p.m. tonight, with the exception of its Emergency Department entrance. The ER entrance will remain unlocked and the hospital will continue to treat ER patients as its normally does. All other entrance doors will be reopened Sunday morning as soon as the worst of the storm passes.
Patients in the hospital tonight will be allowed to have one visitor staying in the room.

Please be aware that Providence Hospital is not a public shelter.
