Hassell Joins Providence Medical Group – Cottage Hill

Family Medicine physician James A. Hassell, MD, has joined Providence Medical Group – Cottage Hill (5621 Cottage Hill Road, Mobile 36609.)

Dr. Hassell is a graduate of Oklahoma State University. He earned his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine and completed a rotating internship at Memorial Medical Center in Corpus Christi, Texas. He served in the United States Air Force Medical Corps.

Dr. Hassell is board certified by the American Board of Family Practice and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He has special medical interests in preventive care, cancer screening and prevention and geriatric medicine.
