Ascension Medical Group Providence Park to Celebrate Grand Opening July 16

New 15,000-square-foot outpatient facility will provide immediate access to care

MOBILE – Providence Medical Group will celebrate the grand opening of a new outpatient medical park – Ascension Medical Group Providence at Providence Park – on Monday, July 16, with a blessing and ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. and an open-house lasting until noon. This event is free and open to the public.

The new 15,000 square-foot outpatient facility is located on the Providence Hospital campus at 6908 Providence Park Drive and will include:

  • A new primary care practice staffed by family medicine physician Nancy Weible, MD, as well as internal medicine physician Stephanie Bender, MD, who will join Providence Park in September
  • Providence Medical Group pediatricians Dr. Amit Pant and Dr. Hari Sivanandam, as well as Dr. Vimla Bhagwandin, who joins the group in August
  • Walk-in clinic with no appointment needed
  • Onsite laboratory and X-ray
  • Separate sick and well-child waiting areas
  • Hand-painted murals

Ascension Medical Group Providence at Providence Park is the first Mobile location to adopt the Ascension brand name within the Providence Medical Group physician network.

 

Staffed with a nurse practitioner, the walk-in clinic at Providence Park will be available to provide immediate care for those who do not have a primary care doctor or who are ill but may not be able to get a same-day appointment with their regular doctor. No appointment is needed.
